If you have author status it shouldn't be grey as far as I can tell. If it is done on your personal blog and then shared to OPPO the comments will be grey and need to be recommended by the author. If its just posted straight to OPPO it should be normal coloured. I don't work for OPPO, just a comment observer extraordinaire.

I'm talking about the front page. My comment isn't grey. All of the replies I make to the replies to me are. It is odd.

Any time I comment on the front page, it's grey. I have author rights on Oppo, does that not correlate with Jalopnik?
